Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Digital Transformation Engineer.

How you will contribute to our National Security and Defense mission:

The MTSI Defense Services Division is seeking a Navy centric Digital Transformation Engineer to help provide support to develop and provide technical services to the NAVAIR Digital Mission. This role will lead the architecture, buildout, and support a team of highly capable engineers for the NAVAIR specific digital ecosystems that will provide Digital capabilities using DevSecOps, Digital Engineering, Open Architectures, MS&A, and test and evaluation. The candidate will be responsible for working with the customer and stakeholders to achieve project goals, assist with proposals, oversee technical implementations, and assist standing up a digital transformation engineering team. You will interact daily with program managers and subject matter experts across multiple domains supporting NAVAIR and the broader Department of the Navy customers. This position will be at Patuxent River, MD.

You’ll be a great fit for this role if:

You have at least 10 years of proven experience as a digital transformation leader assisting programs adopt digital acquisition to accelerate delivery of capabilities.
You have knowledge of the digital landscape across the DoN, to include infrastructure, software factories, digital environments, and cloud-based solutions.
You have led digital transformation teams supporting classified government programs.
You can have experience supporting digital acquisition, connecting mission engineering to model based systems engineering, modeling and simulation, and mission/capabilities-based test and evaluation.

Qualifications Required:

10 years' experience working as a Digital Transformation Engineer.
Experience leading digital transformation teams.
Experience supporting digital defense acquisition programs.
Experience working in TS/SCI or SAP environments.

Education:

BS in Engineering-related field.

Even better if you have these desired skills:

DoD-wide or Joint experience with Digital Transformation/Acquisition.
Familiarity with software development and DevSecOps integration.
Awareness of IT cybersecurity and weapon system cyber resiliency/survivability.
Experience with air domain aviation platforms and weapon systems.
Live, Virtual, Constructive Testing connecting digital T&E with live testing.

Clearance Requirements:

Must possess an active Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI/SAP eligibility) is HIGHLY desired.
