As a Senior Engineer in the Chantilly VA location, you’ll be asked to multi-task on several different projects and focus areas. First and foremost, you’ll bring satellite ISR expertise and knowledge to a long-standing collection management/situational awareness software suite that is utilized by US personnel across the globe. Specific duties may also include project management, maintaining the backlog of project tasks, capabilities testing, analytic support and training. Your senior status as a SME will also be utilized to support business development efforts for the group and division.
Your satellite system expertise will be used to help shape the requirements and eventual functionality of the collection management/situational awareness tool suite. You will help with capability development, test those results, and provide user support as questions and needs arise.

Responsibilities:
- Provide insight and recommendations regarding satellite systems and their operations, to include National, US Govt, Commercial, and foreign systems
- Manage development backlog to include requirements and discrepancy findings.
- Project management
- Interfacing with both the Government customer and the diverse user base on multiple networks
- Support implementation, configuration, operations, and maintenance of multiple systems
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering related field (e.g., aerospace, mechanical, systems).
- 15+ years of experience working with satellite systems
- Deep understanding of satellite ISR operations
- Understanding of the software development cycle with emphasis on testing
- Experience with Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence)
- Strong communication skills

Required Clearance:
- Must possess an active Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility)
