MTSI is seeking an Agile Mission Suite Government Reference Architecture SME to provide technical leadership and system integration expertise in support of a next-generation air dominance initiative. This role will focus on defining, integrating, and maturing autonomous mission system capabilities across a complex system-of-systems architecture. The position involves working closely with government stakeholders, prime contractors, and technical teams to guide development, ensure interoperability, and align autonomy technologies with operational mission needs.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead technical integrator for autonomy-related mission systems across multiple platforms.
- Translate mission-level requirements into technical architectures and interface definitions supporting autonomy integration.
- Lead coordination efforts across engineering, software, and test teams to align system capabilities with government priorities.
- Participate in technical reviews, readiness assessments, and design evaluations for autonomy capabilities.
- Contribute to program documentation including CONOPS, system views, interface control documents, and test plans.
- Support digital engineering efforts and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) practices for autonomy system design.
- Ensure alignment with open system architecture principles and modular integration strategies.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience supporting complex DoD systems engineering or mission systems integration.
- Demonstrated experience in autonomy, artificial intelligence, or unmanned systems.
- Strong understanding of interface design, open architectures, and system-of-systems integration.
- Experience working in a collaborative acquisition environment with government and industry partners.
- Must possess an active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI.
Desired
- Master’s degree in engineering, systems architecture, or autonomy-related field.
- Experience supporting advanced aircraft, mission autonomy, or control systems programs.
- Familiarity with MBSE tools and digital thread implementations (e.g., Cameo, SysML).
- INCOSE CSEP or other relevant engineering certifications.
- Prior experience supporting AFLCMC or other Air Force development programs.
