Dayton, OhioPersonnel performing in this position shall be experienced and motivated information technology (IT) professionals with the necessary skills to support the Anti-Tamper Executive Agent Field Program Office (ATEA FPO) by independently executing IT/Systems Administrator/Information Assurance (IA) tasks in a classified work environment.
- Support implementation, configuration, operations, and maintenance of multiple classified and unclassified networked systems.
- Plan, coordinate, and install applications software and hardware for multiple classified networked systems.
- Define/resolve information technology issues; provide troubleshooting/Helpdesk support to all ATEA FPO assigned personnel.
- Maintain inventory control records for all ATEA FPO IT equipment, to include current and future inventory; this includes new software and networks
- Oversee the installation and configuration of applications software and the establishment of user environments.
- Implement formal Information Systems Security Plan while also enforcing Information System Security policies.
- Manage installation of system patches and enhancements/updates and ensures system integrity is not compromised.
- Provide proactive consultation and instruction with system users to ensure seamless implementation of changes.
- Provide ATEA FPO secure video teleconferencing (VTC) support.
As an IT professional with MTSI, you will be responsible for installation, upgrading, monitoring, maintaining and supporting networks, software and hardware systems for multiple Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) infrastructure. You will interact daily with program managers, engineers, and industry subject matter experts across multiple Service domains supporting Department of Defense (DoD) Services and Agencies, and Intelligence Community (IC) customers. This position will be located at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.

Responsibilities:
Personnel performing in this position shall be experienced and motivated information technology (IT) professionals with the necessary skills to support the Anti-Tamper Executive Agent Field Program Office (ATEA FPO) by independently executing IT/Systems Administrator/Information Assurance (IA) tasks in a classified work environment.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
- Shall perform network system administration: Administer and maintain assigned multiple systems and act as the ATEA FPO POC for networks.
- Shall provide ATEA FPO VTC support for AF7 and JWICS.
- Shall define IT issues and work to resolve:
- Identify system problems of an unusual or complex nature and develop corrective action.
- Continually survey system operation to identify and anticipate potential problems which could lead to loss or serious interruption or compromise of system availability.
- Troubleshoot and analyze unusual or complex hardware and software malfunctions to resolve physical and logical processing problems and recommends acquisition of equipment, software and/or hardware which will resolve operational problems.
- Identify corrective or preventive procedures and takes actions to rectify immediate problems and prevent future occurrences.
- Analyze and diagnose system failures to isolate source of problems. Perform testing, troubleshoot, and correct complex or unusual problems involving interface and interoperability of system components such as hardware, systems software, and applications programs.
- Shall plan, coordinate, and install applications software and hardware for multiple classified networked systems.
- Shall maintain inventory control records for all ATEA FPO IT equipment, to include current and future inventory; this includes new software and networks.
- Shall optimize the functionality and performance of hardware and software systems and ensures availability, integrity, efficiency, and reliability of servers.
- Shall oversee the installation and configuration of applications software and the establishment of user environments.
- Shall facilitate the shared drive cleanup effort (NIPR, SIPR, CV2).
- Shall design data products, processes, or programs that enhance functional area management and provide for increased organization optimization of Information Technology processes.
- Shall implement formal Information Systems Security Plan while also enforcing Information System Security policies.
- Shall manage installation of system patches and enhancements/updates and ensure system integrity is not compromised.
- Shall develop standard procedures for account establishment, system maintenance, and system recovery.
- Shall ensure maintenance and upgrade procedures are established in such a way as to minimize disruption to normal business functions of organization within the installation. This includes ensuring scheduled backups and the application of upgrades or system patches will have minimum impact.
- Shall provide proactive consultation and instruction with system users to ensure seamless implementation of changes.
- Shall support contractor inspections to ensure contractor node network controls are documented and properly implemented.
Qualifications Required:
- 5+ years of relevant DoD work experience (years of experience may be waiverable with customer approval)
- 18+ months’ experience in a SAP or SCI environment (SAP/SCI experience may be waiverable with customer approval)
- Security+ Certification
- Knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, FTP, SSH, IP CONFIG)
- Experience with CAISI, CSS VSAT, and networking
Education:
- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science (BA/BS) (Experience may be considered lieu of education)
Even better if you have these desired skills:
- Experience in Technical Support, Cloud Computing, Information Security, and Compliance
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certifications
- Installing, configuring, and managing network switches and routers (versed in OSPF, MPLS, SDN, routing/switching on Juniper and Cisco hardware platforms)
- Proficiency with Active Directory, domain controllers, IP addressing, DNS, remote access, VLANs, and VoIP systems
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Clearance Requirements:
- Possess an active Top Secret security clearance, based upon a Single Scope Background (SSBI/SBPR).
- Must be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAP) access.
