GENERAL ENGINEER - 2025-10126
Fort Belvoir, Virginia- Support various projects simultaneously covering the full spectrum of emerging technologies, with projects lasting from six months to multiple years.
- Assist in developing, documenting, and verifying system and subsystem characteristics.
- Help manage the resolution of complex hardware, software and/or integration problems within appropriate Integrated Product Teams, engaging with internal and external organizations, and helping identify solutions that meet or exceed client requirements.
- Develop and present system briefings to senior management-level personnel.
- Perform comprehensive capability analysis; characteristic identification and execution assessments; assembly and system testing; and integration plans and schedules.
- Assist in developing and maintaining documentation of System Level Architecture and support Interface Requirements Specification development.
- Develop and monitor key performance parameters.
- Assist with identification and management of technical and production risk.
- Assist with developing and documenting overall System and Subsystem Level design, function, and performance criteria.
- 8+ years of work experience in a technical discipline (i.e., engineering, computer science, computer engineering, information technology, mathematics, physics)
- Associate of Science in a technical discipline
- Able to perform all functional duties independently
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work on high-visibility or mission critical aspects
- Have a firm grasp of electrical engineering principles
