As a Network Engineer with MTSI, you will join a small, energetic team to build and maintain a high-fidelity cloud environment. The purpose of this environment is to streamline the acquisition process between the stages of Analysis, Prototyping, Enterprise Testing, and Program of Record Transition.
 
As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Designing, implementing, and managing networking technologies in the AWS cloud.
  • Developing Networking solutions with an emphasis on SDN and SD-WAN technologies.
  • Support the software engineering team with gathering and analyzing network metrics.
  • Troubleshooting and resolve network issues.
  • Automate infrastructure using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and CDK.
  • Ensuring security and compliance.
  • Collaborating with a National Team of Subject Matter Experts.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of five (5) years' relevant experience as a Network Engineer or Architect.
  • Strong understanding of SDN and SD-WAN technologies.
  • Strong ability to design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructures.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving network issues.
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently with small, distributed teams.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Cisco, Juniper or VMWare SD-WAN cloud experience.
  • Python development and Scripting.
  • Experience developing and integrating networks for the DoD.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Network Engineering, Information Technologies or related field.
  • Network Certifications and experience will be considered in lieu of education.

Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be eligible for Secret security clearance, Active Secret security clearance, Desired.
  • Must be eligible for Top Secret (TS) / Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance.
  • Active Top Secret (TS) / Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), Highly Desired.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
