Responsibilities:

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

Work with leading-edge autonomous UAS companies and government organizations to provide critical national solutions for the DoD.
Support AFWERX Prime in developing program and acquisition documentation, creating program schedules, tracking program status, performing risk management, and managing integrated product teams.
Plan, coordinate, and execute various UAS flight-related events.
Plan and monitor acquisition and program transition paths.
Plan, organize documentation for, and monitor AFRL Safety Review Boards and Airworthiness requirements.

Qualifications Required:

10+ total years of acquisition experience.
4+ years of experience in a DoD acquisition program office or equivalent.
Excellent oral and written communications skills, strong analytical skills, organizational and workload management, and interpersonal skills.
U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor’s degree in a business, engineering, avionics, or similar technical field.
A master’s degree in a business, engineering, avionics, or similar technical field, or a total of 22+ years of acquisition experience.

Highly Desirable Skills:

Experience working with the Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) and Small Business Tech Transition (STTR) programs.
Knowledge with UAS/counter-UAS acquisition and autonomous UAS programs.
Experience in Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) at a related program office.

Clearance Requirements:

TS clearance with SCI eligibility is required.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

This is currently a hybrid position, requiring regular attendance in offices at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. At any time, the customer can require 100% on-site attendance.

Travel up to 25% will be required to government and industry locations.
