Personnel performing in this position are motivated and detail-oriented Junior security professionals with the necessary skills to support the DoD Anti-Tamper Executive Agent Field Program Office (ATEA FPO), under the auspices and guidance of the FPO Security Lead, to ensure protection and safeguarding of SAP and SCI activities in the following areas:
- Personnel Security
- Information Security
- Physical Security
- Industrial Security
- Security Education and Training
As a Security professional with MTSI, you will be responsible for supporting customers in Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) facilities. You will interact daily with program managers, engineers, financial managers, other security personnel, and industry subject matter experts across multiple Services supporting Department of Defense (DoD) Services and Agencies, and Intelligence Community (IC) customers. This position will be located at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.

Responsibilities:
Personnel performing in this position shall be a motivated Security professionals with the necessary skills to provide the DoD Anti-Tamper Executive Agent Field Program Office (ATEA FPO) security support services in a classified work environment.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
Personnel Security Assistance:
- Assist unit personnel with understanding and complying with current personnel security policies for obtaining and maintaining Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
- Help manage SAP access, including preparing and reviewing Program Access Requests (PARs) according to established procedures.
- Draft letters of compelling need (LOCN) packages.
- Verify clearance information and send visit certifications using databases like DISS/DCII.
- Input and maintain data in the JADE system, including privacy act information, foreign contact/travel details, and program access data.
- Use the JADE system to generate reports such as access rosters, visitor certifications, and program access lists.
- Maintain organized and accurate personnel security files.
Classified Information Handling:
- Prepare and dispatch classified mail packages according to established guidelines.
- Protect classified materials, contractor proprietary information, and sensitive data during transmission/receipt via classified networks.
- Assist in enforcing two-person integrity requirements for uploading/downloading files on secure networks and storage of media.
- Document and track the lifecycle of classified media.
- Ensure the protection of all classified information and sensitive materials.
Physical Security Support:
- Conduct entry/exit inspections of classified facilities.
- Issue visitor badges, create meeting rosters, and prepare facility access control badges.
- Escort uncleared visitors within secure facilities.
- Ensure prohibited items are not brought into classified areas.
Security Training Assistance:
- Assist in the development and delivery of SAP/SCI security training programs.
- Conduct initial, refresher, and supplemental security briefings and document training activities.
Reporting and Liaison:
- Report any reported derogatory information on SCI/SAP-indoctrinated personnel to the GSSO/SSR
- Maintain communication with security officials as needed.
Compliance and General Support:
- Follow and enforce the organization's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform various security administrative tasks as directed by the MTSI site lead and the Senior Security Representative.
- Maintain and communicate VTC/Conference room schedules for multiple rooms to ensure classification levels are adhered to.

Qualifications Required:
- 3+ years of relevant DoD work experience (years of experience may be waiverable with customer approval)
- 9+ months’ experience in an SAP and/or SCI environment (SAP/SCI experience may be waiverable with customer approval)
Education:
- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science (BA/BS) (Experience may be considered lieu of education)
Even better if you have these desired skills:
- Familiarity with ICD 705
- Familiarity with 5205.07/5105.21 Vol 1-3
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Clearance Requirements:
- Possess an active Top Secret security clearance, based upon a Single Scope Background (SSBI/SBPR).
- Must be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAP) access.
