FLIGHT TEST ENGINEER / PROGRAM TEST MANAGER - 1133902115096

The successful applicant will be an experienced Test Engineer providing test and management leadership in support of AFSOC Airborne Adaptive Enterprise (A2E) acquisitions. They will work close with the Program Manager and provide technical expertise and oversight of test management, developmental test planning, test execution, and performance reporting.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as a program test manager for A2E test activities.
• Collaborate with Combat Acquisition Detachments (CADs) to understand operational requirements and translate them into technical and testable specifications.
• Coordinate program activities with various government and industry partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Develop and review test strategies, test plans, and integration procedures.
• Participate in system design reviews and provide technical assessments as required.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with program execution.
• Coordinate with key stake holders to accelerate, execute, and develop test strategies
• Coordinate with USSOCOM, AFSOC, and test agencies to deliver test related fielding documentation in support of fielding decisions.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of program strategies and roadmaps.
• Will require occasional travel to support program activities.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Computer, Systems, or related field) required; master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 18+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on complex electronic systems or 10+ years of experience and a Master’s degree
• Strong understanding of USAF military flight test methodologies and agencies.
• Experience with DoD acquisition processes and procedures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Must be a US Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance by date of hire.

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience working with USSOCOM or other special operations forces. 
• Familiarity with relevant military standards and specifications.
• Test Pilot School graduate.
• Experience working on-site in a government client environment.
