Responsibilities:
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
Intelligence Subject Matter Expertise:
- Provide independent comparative technical analyses of military capabilities of the U.S. and its competitors.
- Develop technical and operational assessments with intelligence and threat-informed analysis in support of DoW technology investment and acquisition decisions to achieve technical overmatch.
- Support integrated assessments of current, emerging, and disruptive capability developments and research across joint warfighting domains.
- Provide subject matter expertise to assist the PD or Government Lead in strategic planning activities to include development of technology roadmaps for the respective CTA.
- Refine and update technology roadmaps based on feedback from stakeholders and changes to technology development investments.
- Identify opportunities to conduct short-term sprints that deliver capabilities identified in long-term strategies.
- Assist with the development of other strategy documents or strategic implementation plans.
Analysis and Assessments Technical Support:
- Assist, support, and provide technical expertise to support the PD’s technical leadership of the CTA.
- Specific tasks may include technical assessments of programs, reviews of white papers or research papers, responses to inquiries from DoW or other Government entities, or other duties as required.
- Assist with and prepare presentations and reports to DoW leadership, outside agencies, Congress, industry, academia, and others as required by the PD or Government Lead.
- Support the development of additional technical material, to include industry and program guidance, high-level architecture, policy and training support, and other areas of engineering advisory required to develop and transition emerging technologies.
Qualifications Required:
- At least fifteen years’ experience in technical and program/project management support with experience in Critical Technology Areas: Scaled Hypersonics, Scaled Directed Energy, Quantum and Battlefield Information Dominance, Applied Artificial Intelligence, Biomanufacturing, and Contested Logistics Technologies
Education:
- Master’s in relevant field
- PhD preferred
