MTSI is seeking a Junior Engineer to support the NAWCAD Systems Engineering Department (SED) to provide comprehensive systems engineering and technical support services. The position provides opportunities to contribute to the analysis, development, integration, testing, and fleet introduction of advanced warfare systems into Naval platforms. This organization is responsible for providing critical systems engineering expertise for naval aviation programs and exposure to many facets of development, testing, integration, and Fleet release.
Responsibilities:
- Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems.
- Understand the safety process, hazards documentation, safety regulations compliance, and report.
- Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
- Applies systems engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
- Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems, or management information systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field from an accredited college or university.
- Must have at least three (3) years of recent and relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in an area of engineering expertise is required.
- Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
- Must be a US Citizen
