Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is hiring an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) at Annapolis Junction, Maryland. Qualified candidates must be U.S. citizens with a TS/SCI clearance and Full Scope Polygraph.

• Provide the government customer expert technical assistance to enable the Information Assurance (IA) program of an organization, system, or enclave.

• Implement and enforce information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.

• Prepare and maintain security documentation and records.

• Evaluate security solutions for processing classified information.

• Advise configuration management (CM) for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.

• Serve as the approval authority for assigned systems.

• Obtain Certification & Accreditation (C&A) for assigned systems.

• Administer user identification and authentication mechanisms.

• Plan and coordinate IT security programs and policies.

• Interact with Government customers, IT staff, and high-level corporate officers to define and achieve IA objectives.

• Exceptional integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to abide by MTSI's core values.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Experience as an ISSO.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.

• Compliance with DoDD 8140 IAM Level I requirements.

• TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.

The pay range for this position in MD is $120,000 to $190,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. MTSI also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
